At SOS Adventure we host large-scale Jesus festivals across the continent of Africa, preaching the Gospel through bold proclamation, signs, and wonders.
Each festival is birthed through months of prayer, fasting, and strategic planning, followed by deep partnership with national leaders, pastors, and local churches. In the days leading up to the event, we saturate the entire city with the love and power of Jesus through SOS Aid, SOS Kids, and preaching the Gospel in the streets.
As our stage, lights, and sound fill the city, a massive Jesus celebration unfolds—designed to draw every nonbeliever to hear a simple and powerful Gospel message. In the manifest presence of God, thousands respond, the sick are healed, the oppressed are set free, and lasting fruit remains as we leave local churches equipped with clear discipleship strategies to steward the harvest.
WE PROCLAIM THE MOST POWERFUL MESSAGE ON THE PLANET: THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST
TYPES OF FESTIVALS
Flagship Festivals is SOS Adventure’s main form of evangelism. These are Signs and Wonders Festivals preached by Evangelist Johannes. These festivals takeplace in cities with a population of 300,000+. During these festivals we work closely with local churches, providing training to empower them to make disciples, ensuring that the mission continues even after our departure. We also train the next generation with our Book of Acts Training Camp.
FLAGSHIP FESTIVALS
Forerunner Festivals enable us to take the Gospel to smaller cities and towns that wouldn't fit our large stage, but are still filled with the lost. These festivals will have a stripped down small version of our flagship stage or smaller depending on the size of the city/town. These festivals are preached by SOS Adventure co-evangelsits alongside Evangelist Johannes.
FORERUNNER FESTIVALS
Frontier Missions will run out of the SOS base in Kenya. The Frontier truck will travel with a small mission team within a 30 hour radius of the base. These trips are down to earth simple mission that any follower of Jesus can go on. These trips will serve as scouting trips for future cities and countries for flagship and forerunner festivals. These trips will serve as an opportunity to reach unreached tribes as we mobilize across the continent.
